guess the reset

Rules

A race on the Codex usage-limit reset — when Tibo hits the button. No entry fee. No prize except the card.

  1. 01

    The reset

There is one open round at a time. You are guessing the Pacific Time minute of a Codex usage-limit reset — when Tibo hits the red button. That clock is the field of play. Your local time is shown only as a translation.

  2. 02

    The two clocks

The large clock and the guess picker always use Pacific Time — that is the official game time. The highlighted “Where you are” clock shows the exact same moment in your device’s local timezone. As you change a guess, its local time and date update automatically; watch the date because Pacific time may fall on a different day where you are.

  3. 03

    The lock

One guess per round. Once it is in, it does not move — not the day, not the minute — until the round is settled. If you want a different time, wait for the next reset.

  4. 04

    The press

When the button is pressed, the official time is taken from the public announcement on X and recorded with a link to it. That closes the round and opens the next one.

  5. 05

    The podium

Closest three guesses take gold, silver, and bronze. Distance is absolute minutes from the official time. A tie goes to whoever locked earlier.

  6. 06

    The day

If your guess falls on the same Pacific calendar day as the press, you take a dated card even if you miss the podium. Podium and day can both land.

  7. 07

    The field

Guesses are public. Home shows a heat map of the crowd and the most recent locks. Every named guess for a round lives on that reset’s field.

  8. 08

    The board

Season standing is medals, in order: gold, then silver, then bronze. Day cards are listed, not used as a tie-break. Tap a handle to see their history and album.

  9. 09

    You

Lock with a handle. Your album and history live on your page. Missed resets stay empty.

Example press: Reset all propagated. Sweet dreams.. Not affiliated with OpenAI. The button is the character. Back to the clock.
